Depending on which state the horse was running in determined who was listed as the trainer.
For the record, both are around 12% trainers. Not great, but not terrible.

How come when Pena did it everyone was outraged?

that's not the first horse that the bongo family has turned around lately
the trotter that beat apex friday night is another etc etc
of course horses can be improved upon by a new program , changes etc
but this is extreme
if nothing else it should get authorities paying some extra attention to his horses

Those previous owners and trainers must be sick . Neither has more than 50 starts all year according to the Usta . Small timers .

They need to start suspending the drivers as well, and watch how the juicing slows down. it will never stop, but these drivers won't want their cash cow taken away from them. Right now they all just turn their heads the other way.

Watched the replay and what a drive. Horse was a monster too! Nice video of winning circle presentation and interview of Joe. Bobby , Nicole, and Joe's son were all in the presentation and interview. Very nice.

The horse was nothing his whole career, so the excuse that ulcers were treated doesn’t hold water.
Maybe if he was good when he was younger and then turned sour, the ulcer story might be believable.

I wouldn’t add him because the horse was race timed in 147:2 with Ryder, and had been going in 148-150 at the Meadowlands a few months ago.

Has 600 plus starts as a trainer at a 39% clip. This horse and his turn around reminds me of the Ledford’s horses running off the screen. This dude is truly making a mockery of the sport and he’s not the only one.

I am glade that I am not the only one who realizes that certain trainers and drivers are better chemist and juicers than the average ones. I have been around the business since the sixties.

Amazing job on this horse . Rumor has it he’s broken down a few or far worse which is awful. Some folks say he trains extremely hard and others say he’s only there occasionally but has good help who run the barn day to day .

Bob in the winners circle, barred from everywhere but couldn't help himself, arrogant scums of the earth. Guys the drug lord behind it all, hug the baby blow the horses insides out. Great people indeed. El Dorado stables more suspended people.
