Today would have been my Dad's 78th birthday.
We lost him to stage 4 Melanoma cancer almost 2 years ago
Him and my Grandparents is what got me into racing..
I hope you are resting easy Pop, you deserve it tmbz1
Now down to business..Happy Travers Day to everyone!!
Today and tomorrow is my last betting until LBJ week.
8 days of work left, then 17 days off..Outer Banks and LBJ week
I am playing pretty much nothing but the SPA, maybe a little Del-Mar and Scioto...they have some nice sire stakes their tonight.

I have always loved Paco despite his issues and checkered past
he allows the horse to dictate to him as opposed to trying and restrain his horse-he "loose reigns" them
he does figure 8s in the warm ups to get the feel for how a horse will respond
always love the guy and his rough riding style

Santaana would have had a shot with an inside out move. Swinging way wide early on the spa turf is not a winning move. But the guy has been riding great and its a long day for these guys as well.
