I default to the track site when I know its free-go to USTA for Monti., for example, when I'd prefer not to pay if I don't have to...
But these are nicer...

The Accuweather forecast has a high probability of 1/5" of rain there during the day, 1/2" in the evening. Something to keep an eye on. With these forms you get the "Off" track stats.
The last 2 months has been almost a hiatus but I feel that cozying up to a form feeling coming back a bit. ;D

I'm going with FAST for now despite.
I don't think it's going to be affected with these numbers unless it gets a 1/5" or more in a 30 min -1 hr time frame then it may come up a GOOD track for several races. Wet track makes me typically eliminate races as mostly young horses with no pp on that surface are unpredictable but for the older crowd they've all been there.

Race 3 was interesting - Yannick driving for Ake let his out a notch down the backside to give Ake a chance to duck in a two hole trip with Ardonne. Ardonne blows up and Yannick cooks his by letting him out too much and wilts in the stretch

Lynch had same result as the Shady Daisy with Sangria Summer knocking off Darlins Angel and Be Perfect BG...they have caught up to her but that last half was like 53.2. Where is Lou Dipa

Look at the lines - he got home in 25 from the 9 hole in NJSS prelim and finished 4th in 51 behind Apex, Diabolic Hill and American Power. Jumped it off in the Yonkers Trot from the 9 hole - first time on a half.
After today he has jumped it off 3 out of 5 starts with Ake

not the kind of race I thought....very soft early fractions but Brandon reasserting himself as king with Melillo 2nd. Jangles took waaaay too much money but he was facing an impossible spot and was 3 wide...he is a good horse no question but just not good enough right now

For Once Inmylife up the passing lane nipping Surreal Ideal after fave Dandy Ideal folded on the lead.....This is a good horse that has been knocking at the door in all the big races and finally got one....nice price too at 18-1 overlay. Albano didnt even try

I think he is sittting on some big races in Ontario..probably the simcoe and then maybe those oss gold...then try him again at Scioto...i mean he wasnt bad today but not going to be able to win 3rd over 3 wide....48.4 beaten 2 lengths, its his best race since the NA Cup elims.

How bad was Yannick today? Almost every decision he made was terrible today. He didn’t have a ton of live drives, but the ones he had were awful. He guts Lexus Kody and breaks a couple other nice trotters. I know he’s a hall of famer, but today was not his best!
And before the idiot crew shows up, no I don’t think I could do any better. I also don’t get paid to drive horses and Yannick couldn’t do my job better than me. Just cutting off the misfits before they show up! tmbz1

How about Nordic Catcher....now 2 of 3 since coming back and really could be a player for Breeders Crown...just 13 starts and 7 wins so sky seems the limit

all the talk was about the big 3 last year..super chapter, emoticon and everyone waiting for Maryland to do something.
I think Emoticon is now back so I wonder if all 3 are eligible to the Maple Leaf that would certainly be interesting..and horses like Bourbinista and Antognni are out there too

The 13 races did UNDER $800,000 in handle and the big pace did just $65,000.

Beau Jangles never regressed. He just never PROGRESSED and is a damn nice horse but in no way is the next coming of greatness that he was touted to be after his 2 year old season ended.

Missing the Hambo final of course was a big disappointment but that one aside the horse hasnt had a bad start. Some close 2nd places finishes and one was to Apex very much like yesterdays race. Winless true but is it really a disappointment when he is showing up in all but one race and i get that was a big one but he bled and the lasix may have been needed. Still picked up $75k yesterday
Likely headed to face Apex again in the NJ Classic Trot
The disappointment of the year is Spencer Hanover and also proves how phony that Oakgrove race is. Just a money race waaay too early in the season

Mitchell York had a training win. Burke, Engblom, and Takter did not.
Buter had a driving win. Tetrick and Gringras did not.
No surprise that Dunn was the top driver.
Ake had a big day on the training side.

The racing was good and that produced many upsets. I believe the track played fair too. A good job by Pocono. tmbz1
