last q 26:1
1:46:1
Best Chip
last year averaged less than $1900 per start 26 starts
Forget about Beau Jangles, Brandon, Mamba
this horse 1.5 seconds Faster
Times are starting to mean nothing..
It is who you beat.
-
Thanks Bob Bongiorno
-
On our biggest day they let those scumbags do shit like that.

Gee--you think?

This horse is a monster
2026 version of Its Fritz
The ffa division is all over the place. Send him up and supplement him in Canada
-
Can someone, anyone explain how this horse
paced 2 seconds faster than anyone on the card???
Synthetic EPO?
and how will he beat the tests?
or did he race clean?
last year not much more than a $15k Claimer
and now 46:1 ? parked and drawing off?
Ok whatever you say.

Meadowlands announcer called Morgan the king of Ohio...more like the women beater of Ohio
-
what a joke
where are the authorities( hahahaha)
horse should be detention barn for next 3 starts minimum
also out of race testing at the farm
this is how you protect the public and others
if he is clean( hahahaha) than trainer should have no issues

Shades of Oscar Barrera.
Wonder what Stallworth, Lozado, and Stillwell are thinking.(previous trainers)
Up to April, horse racing in nw2500, going 152-153.
Joe B gets him, and the times dropping, finally 146.
So who is El Dorado Stable?
-
Shades of Oscar Barrera.
I wonder what happened to little Mikey from Mexico City
-
Not only 1:46:1 but parked to the 1/4 and
the final kick in the arse...
home in 26:1
This guy could have gone another mile in 46:1
after he finished the first mile.
and if u believe this I have a Bridge in Brooklyn to sell
you at an excellent price.
not saying the horse isnt fast but 46:1?
faster than Beau, Mamba, Brandon, and other the other
speed freaks...that raced that day...
-
PS. Parked to the half in 53:3. !!!!!
No worries......Home in :52
last quarter 26:1 under wraps.
so maybe if he wasnt parked would paced 1:44:4 ?
Not bad for a NW horse.

This horse has been raging for a couple of months now. Chased Voukefalas and settling for 2nd in 1:47.1 mile then scored on Big M Pace night and super effort finishing 3rd from impossible spot in Ohio vs FFA. I had no doubt that a sub 147 mile was coming today and he was my best bet of the day. He is super fast but needs the test when someone challenges. Its a solid but unspectacular group of ffa this year. Tetrick driving him instead of Joe Bo makes him that much better

Didn't Bongo win with him in 46 and a piece a few weeks ago?
-
no one is arguing with his form/speed
what is questionable is how did he get there
-
One week this forum screams that time means nothing and then the next week it does.

some posters. like me, watch races and don't stare at the clock
some posters are obsessed with the clock and final quarters
how many times has someone quoted a 26.1 final quarter?
who doesn't come home in 26.1 at M1?
too bad the Bongiorno horse didn't go 45.3 and eclipse Bulldog's mark--would have made many here very excited
-
Ken Warkentin makes a big deal out of it when a horse goes a 27 flat first quarter and calls it dazzling.

You're right.
Time does matter. That's what breeding deals are set on.
That said, monster times usually happen on big days with the track worked to provide as much speed as possible. Best Chip's 1:46.4 was on Pace day, I believe. Dealt A Winner went 45.4 on Hambo day. He was very good but maybe not a great. But the track was super fast.
Bourbonista (Melander) winning off a layoff after trotting 48.4 five weeks ago is another. How does THAT happen? Second fastest trot mile ever belongs to a mare that was mid level condition two months ago. Now she only runs every 3-4-5 weeks and wins big races.
Melander almost won the Mare trot with Tactical Moni. Off 7 weeks. One race in 10 months. How does THAT happen.
I don't know how it happens, but it's bullshit.
Makes me appreciate Bulldog Hanover who went 46.1 or better three straight weeks.

Dealt A Winner went 47.3 on Hambletonian Day
Bulldog is the only one to pace sub 46

They only go as fast as they have too. No matter if its 1:55 or 1:46.

Imagine as a 3yo having 26 starts and making 51k with a mark of 52… imagine the following year you go 120 flat to 3 quarters and still sprint home in 26.1…. Now imagine Joe Bongiorno is the trainer of said horse… it’s criminal plain and simple!!
-
Wasn't he going like 156.0 with his last trainer going off 90/1? Same owner or did the barred cheater El Dorado have him then?
-
well average 3yos are going 147.2 today at Red Mile
maybe Jen Bo has a piece of ownership

I would love to see how fast a horse like him could actually go in a "Time Trial" setting 🤔
so maybe if he wasnt parked would paced 1:44:4 ?
Not bad for a NW horse.

El Dorado got him late April, and he was going 152-153 at the meadowlands for Stallworth and Stillwell.
Seems 1 was listed for NY races and the other for NJ races, etc.
Neither are big time trainers, but both have lifetime 11% win percentages.
-
Who is this el dorado stable and why are they barred cheaters
-
Who is this el dorado stable and why are they barred cheaters
Some guy from Fort Myers named Joshua Lewis is the principle owner.
-
I was watching Mohawk over the weekend, Randy said there is a big difference in the surfaces between the Meadowlands and Mohawk.
This accounts how good/bad or bad/good they go depending on which track they are on first....
-
The horse broker that found this horse must be genius.
-
Best trainer to ever live lol
