The "Hebrew" and "Christian" Track owners
are having a tuf time without slots/casinos.
Current Score:
Christian Track owners get 1st Prize and a ticket
to Palukaville with a $138 Million $ Loss
on Hawthorne....Ouch
The "Hebrew" Track owner is out a cool $10 million
for the Blue Ribbon and the Place spot.
I am starting to think running a track without slots
may be a tuf gig...but wait....
Maybe the Buddhist Track owners may step in?
And if they fail....the Muslim contingent could step
to the plate to save Harness Racing.
The Bible Belt ( Gambling is the Devil's work) Group
has embraced the new Kentucky Harness tracks
with open arms now that there is a buck to be made.
Imagine what Gural could do with (M) 1 if
they gave him Fiull fledged Casinos..
Harness Racing in NJ would be going for
$30,000 overnites and $80,000 Open Pace and Trots.
Yonkers was running $4000 Claimers and on the
brink of closing prior to be "awarded" Slots..
Now Yonkers Purses are WAY up...
Lets face it...the public has luke warm interest
in our sport....and without slots there..
is a problem in Houston.
The big Stake races could approach $2 Million per in
NJ if they had slots/table games...but the big billion $
companies like MGM, Caesars have yet to jump on board.
They killed Michigan racing...0 tracks left..
Casinos in Detroit raking it in.
