Albatross was one of the greatest sires in Standardbred history. His most famous offspring included:
Niatross — perhaps his greatest son; Triple Crown winner and the first Standardbred to break the 1:50 mile barrier.
Fan Hanover — a great mare and the only filly ever to win the Little Brown Jug.
Jaguar Spur — Little Brown Jug winner.
Merger — Little Brown Jug winner.
Colt Fortysix — Little Brown Jug winner.
Overall, Albatross sired 2,546 foals whose earnings totaled about $130.7 million, and his sons and daughters produced a tremendous influence on the pacing breed. He was also an outstanding broodmare sire.
He was especially important because of Niatross, whose sons—most notably Nihilator—helped carry the Albatross line forward.

—Albatross was generally considered a relatively small, compact horse when he was young, especially compared with some of the larger modern Standardbreds.
I would be cautious about giving an exact height at ages 2 and 3, because reliable records of his height at those ages are hard to find.
What is clear is that he was not a physically imposing, huge horse early in his career. He was known more for his tremendous power, balance, speed, and athleticism than for sheer size. He won 14 of 17 starts at two and then an extraordinary 25 of 28 at three, so his performance clearly exceeded what his physical size might have suggested.
Like many Standardbreds, he also filled out and became more substantial with age. The adult Albatross was a strong, muscular horse, but photographs from his racing years can make him look somewhat smaller and more compact than many later stallions.

albatross also sired three diamonds , she has had the most influence on the industry through her daughters ( yes he also had life sign )
niatross was amazing, his sons ( save for nihilator) have not had a big impact on the industry
nihilator biggest impact was siring world order who sired worldly treasure the dam of captaintreacherou s
unfortunately fan hanover never foaled a good horse and her daughters have not either
