Including the great Leap to Fame, He had a disaster of a trip
To put this in context, Leap to Fame has had 92 starts for 72 wins 15 seconds and 3 Thirds for 6.5 million
This was the annual Inter Dominion grand final ($1 million)
This mare was bred in NZ and she beats the boys and on top of that she is 4 years old.

An interesting fact
There were 3 group one races. That race plus one for the trotters and the Queensland Derby and they all have one thing in common. All 3 winners were initially trained by Nathan Williamson
Nathan Williamson is a very good driver as well as as stated below he was involved in an awful accident when the sulky collapsed near the finish of a race Captain's Mistress was going to win and Nathan landed on his head and was clipped by other horses
Captains Mistress left under the most of unusual of circumstances as Williamson suffered a severe head injury driving her in a Group 1 at Alexandra Park last December in what was to be her last start for him.
