With a horrific drive like this one how can he be ranked in the same conversation as the top guys, no way…
Absolutely laughable. Driving the odds on choice, has a wide open hole after the horse didn’t have enough gate speed to leave for the top and then passes on the rail hole and goes nowhere backing up like a 200-1shot.
Avg at best …

Agree, even if he drops him in the hole for 5th the gelding didn't have it tonight.

Hands can feel what the horse has to a degree and his decision to go forward with a dead horse that couldn’t even reach the horse in the hole behind the leader is telling at least the way I see it.

Maybe he had broken equipment, is that a possibility.
