Title: Grooms pay
Post by: Jbig on June 19, 2026, 07:26:31 PM: How much are grooms making at Hoosier park? I have a recent grad that what’s to work away from for a year and see how it goes and I haven’t been in the business in quite a while!

Depending how long they been there they can get between 5 to 8 horses in their Plus paddocks if they wish extra work paddocks are 100 per horse
Plus Xmas bonuses

My two trainers pay their grooms very well and are very respectful to them

Owners alwsys tip grooms especially after a win

Damn I worked for Stolfus at Brandywine and was getting 150 a head and that was back in 87

I heard that collection plate gets lighter once you passed it ngc3

Sad thing some of us do communicate while others here don't outside of here.
