AMac was wearing the glasses and doing the commentary and was chirping to the horse when it happened.

I believe it was Justine Irvine on the 6 and it was him, closest, and his colors. Despite they had him listed on the 5 too.

If you watch him in other races when he wears the glasses he gives Irvine a ration and laughs at him when he beats him. It's all in good fun. Irvine was on a .a 3/5 and AMAC let him know he beat him by a whisker

I don't know Irvine.
Never meet him, but I know a gazillion catch drivers.
Here is how it often goes.
Colt makes a break and on the race track the driver calls it an "Idiot".
Driver tells the Owner/Trainer "Just a colt misstep. Pull up the overcheck abit and shorten the hopples a hole and next week this colt will win for fun".
Catch driver walks away thinking to himself "I hope I don't get stuck in to driving that Idiot next week".
