Title: Northfield race 11 odds
Post by: Dingus on June 17, 2026, 09:50:47 PM
As the gate started rolling in the backstretch, 9 horse is 6-5.
First call after the start, he’s 1-5.
No wonder no one wants to bet any more.

Sloppy track tonight

driving colony: in post position order

Kody Massey. Logan Ebersole, Braiden Rhoades, Chris Lems, Justin Irvine, John Ciocca Jr., James Day, Greg Grismore (he probably knows more than the rest of these drivers and flunked out of Yonkers with Burke horses), and Wyatt Farmer @ 1/5 and he won the race with the 9 hole.

11k win pool

19k exacta pool

26k trifecta pool

a lot better than quite a few harness tracks

I regularly bet on Northfield. And the late win and exacter money is sometimes unreal. In that 11th race. The 9 should have gone off at 1/9 against that sorry non winning group of horse flesh.

Ultimately most horses end up going off around what they should be but agree it's a bad look.
