Title: NFLD 6/7
Post by: SDST2009 on June 07, 2026, 10:09:09 PM
Does anyone happen to know what caused the no contest in Race 5 tonight at Northfield? Saw a horse make a break at around the first quarter but that's it. It did go quite wide after the break.

Anyone know?

The horse (driven by AMac) had broken equipment at the quarter and turned around and was going the wrong direction as the field was coming to the half. I thought it was a major overreaction at the time but with all the safety precautions in place these days that's a no-no and it's in the rules.

In this case A Mac should be fined and suspended from driving!! There's no excuse for an experienced driver to pull a bone head move like this.!!!!
