Good Purses bring good horses and trainers and times should be quick.... But this quick ?
Track records - hell world records are being broken left and right and one thing I look at it, sometimes not how fast the winner went but how fast was the 5th place horse going.... When that many horses are flying, what is the true distance of the track ? Does it matter ? Would Scioto actually fess up if it was short and then take a black eye as to the times going especially with the Breeders Crown coming in the fall ?
This past Friday
Class Winning time 5th place time

Dink, call the race office and ask if they use GPS tracking software and to email you one race result of your choosing.
See if any horse comes up less than 5280 feet traveled.

They use this technology ? Used often at thoroughbred tracks and released to the public as an additional handicapping tool.

This was a topic on here last year with much debate.
They totally redid the track a few years ago when the new grandstand was built.
Whether its a cunt hair short of a mile I have no idea..
But it has always been probably the fastest 5/8 track in the country except for maybe Pocono when they used to race at night always.
