There at Yonkers !!!!!omg shut the f up you guys all suck. Anytime I have to watch Yonkers for something I have to mute my tv Hopefully the rumors that Yonkers will be gone like freehold are true. The purses are more than the amount bet in each race

the greaseball that called the Jug last year
STFU already
-
The guy at Vernon is pathetic. I think its John Horne. Calls it a game instead of a race and calls 2 minute WARNING! Like its a football game! ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 And every race they're wheel to wheel toe to toe! ngc3
-
George Anthony is actually good compared to John Horne and Roger Houston!
I was in Saratoga last week for the sires stakes races and was very thankful for George Anthony calling the races. At least we got to listen to a clone of the late Jack E. Lee!

Not harness related but how about the board at Parx? How brutal is she? ngc3
-
Is she made out of Oak or Pine? ;D

Announcer at Vernon downs , just horrendous! Must pay him peanuts and can’t find anyone else !

Her catch phrase before every race..
"And.... now they're all in" right before the start
Wonder if she says that before....well you all know ngc3

She's horrible and obviously a cheap hire. As soon as the race is over, she gives the final time that nobody cares about, then is totally silent for several minutes until the horse is in the winner's circle.

Announcer who repeatedly screams instructions to the remaining drivers after an accident on track annoys me because the remaining drivers CAN NOT hear or understand what the Announcer is saying. As a former driver for 15 year I can attest to this. Secondly the audio systems at most every track is designed to project the sound downward towards the people. What ever became of the "Traffic Light " plan to alert the drivers of an on track incident during the race?????
-
I remember Brandywine Raceway had a red flashing light on certain poles at the track when there was an accident, however it didn't stop track announcer Roy Shudt from telling the drivers either there's a loose horse on the track or to go wide when a horse was down.

Saul at Pocono
-
"who wants it more" marble mouth Joe Romanelli really really annoys the F out of me. Guy at Buffalo, Wayne is clue less, and far from competent.

tmbz1 tmbz1

Is Ayer’s Ratliff calling races again at Northfield??

Saul at Pocono
Who is Saul. The long time announcer at Pocono Downs is Jim Beglivia and he’s pretty good.o

I agree. George Anthony is one of the most colorful and announcers. Here is a man who was a NYC cop. Started announcing at Ocean Downs. Then became of very successful trainer on the NY circuit and won at the Meadowlands. He know owns thoroughbreds utilizing Mike Miceli as his trainer. I really like hearing George at Yonkers and Saratoga plus he is a really nice guy. He always liked talking to the fans.

Was at Saratoga for sires stakes last Sunday at Saratoga.
Did a good call of the race I was in.
When he did the after race commentary at pocono years ago, he had a fun and intuitive side to him when my horse won a race there.
