Yonkers, NY – Beginning with the condition sheet for Monday, June 8, purses for most races at MGM Yonkers Raceway will increase by 10 percent. For example, this purse hike will see the Invitationals go for $43,000 and the Opens for New York-bred 4- and 5-year-olds at $37,000.
The classes that will not see a bump include non-winners of $5,000 in their last five starts, $15,000 claimers and amateur trot events.

Yonkers is simply the best there's no place better to race year after year.

1st thing is give them to a trainer no one wants to claim off and then keep jamming them in that class!

I'm fairly certain Per Engblom and some trainers are making huge bucks there.
