He also trains his father's South Island Stable. John is a bit more aggressive than Dex but he can certainly drive

A couple of weeks ago he trained and drove 6 winners on the night and many of the fields are bigger than here for the most part

I would go with

1) Dexter
2) James MacDonald
3) Scott Zeron

followed by McCarthy brothers

If Sears was still driving he would be high on this list. If he was driving and Dave wasn't injured, they would be 2 and 3, interchangeable depending on the horse.
