Title: Mountain Madness
Post by: bello on May 11, 2026, 07:02:20 PM
Mountaineer is a guilty pleasure of mine. Good angles galore

Race 1

#5  if he loses I expect all 10 people on track to attempt to burn it down

DD  Cold punch  5/9  P4  5/9/47/3410

Race 2

#9

Cicatriz...Horrib le field.  #9 actually has form...Those 5 and 6 wide trips at Charleston is like running in cement. Joe Stokes is very competent. pounded in DDS

#1 catastrophic breakdown backstretch.  If Petrelli ever watched the races from the Mountain he would move to west virginia.

No one was beating lose on lead #3 race 2

Race 3

#4  looks like a big favorite  BUT  he burns so much money that he is still risky at a short price
#7 Has speed which is hard to find in this rate. It would be no surprise if he breaks on top and waves goodbye  dd  47/3410

I like me some Mighy Mountaineer every now and again, not nearly as good since Mark Patterson left. Yeah that poor #1 horse in the 2nd race... not good

You know   I wrote them off after Mark left, but the races are so much more entertaining there than that crap I tuned into at OakGrove I came back

Race 4   I could not separate 3 horses

#3  10 year old moves into basement. Trainer is very good. Should get a perfect trip behind speedy 10
#4  Ships in from tougher circuit , first time on real sand
#10..long layoff but trainer has been on fire,

Yeah. Every race at Oak Grove is a lineup   BORING  and its tough figuring out who is more of a stiff Marcs Miller or Atlee Bender.  I have done ok there but I cannot stand Ray Kotolo and  Kleinheins handicapping the races and Rays yelling. Funny, I like listening to some handicappers like Mark and Andy Serling, but them just grate on me.
