Title: Moving along at Plainridge Monday 4/13
Post by: rainman2 on April 13, 2026, 06:43:46 PM
65 degrees.  Nice day.  Fast miles.

Looks like some horsemen either have their horses ready or better stock racing there.

Which is it?

The driving assignments will be interesting as Brett Beckwith is out of action for an extended period of time.

For the most part, it's trotting Thursday at Plainridge.  Since the trots aren't as fast as the pace races, the Saratoga people try their luck and hope for the best  bigger track for more potential purse money too!  Nothing wrong with that as this is why they are stabled at the farms instead of the track.  More racing options available to them.
