Wrong race. It was coaches corner missing the board at 1-2 that set off the prices and made someone lose big! tmbz1

They were all talking about Coaches Corner.
They were just mentioning Captain Albano for the comparison in heavy favoritism and lack of show support.
Aside note, I fell for it too, in the Captain Albano race I did nail the first 3 horses. 1/36 ex, tri sup, BUT - no reverse....I was a minor league exotic bridge jumper at 70 bux ngc3
Surely a bridge jumper in the Coaches Corner but no one killed themself over $12k, was upside down completely, but the jump wasn't that high! ;D

Engblom's horse had $19k to show in race 2 and he won
Engblom's horse had $17k in the place(no show wagering)in race 3 and he won
does anyone start threads when these heavy favorites win or finish on the board and pay $2.10
somebody made a dumb bet on Coaches Corner--as mentioned that total was only $12k in the show pool
Captain Albano finished about a millimeter ahead of the 4th place finisher to save the bridgejumpers
it happens at times--people make dumb bets, horses run bad races
betting Yonkers is like visiting the bad part of town--you get in and get out, but don't stick around, you could get busted
