Not sure if still the case. in the past, they paid all horses that finished 6th through 10th in amateur races. Is this still true?
Do they do the same for overnight races?
If they do pay all. Do the horses finishing 1st through 5th get less?
And do any other tracks pay all finishers no matter where they finish?

Personally I think their purse distribution is ridiculous ....winners getting 46%?
Winners should be getting a higher % of the purse, not lower...diminishe s the incentive to actually try to win.
I think tracks should pay top three only...maybe 2% or 1% for fourth and fifth but that's it.
Enough with the participation trophies already...

There were discussions last year that if you didn't finish in the top 5 in one of our last 5 starts, the participation award ended. I think their need for horses and the desire for full 10 horse fields curbed that

That is like going to work at a real job and expecting to get paid just for showing up.
