Check out those payouts and also take a look at the pools for that race What's going on here? Big time funny business at this track every week. I wouldn't play this track with monopoly money!

I'm still laughing at the place pool in this race. And only $612 win pool. That's sad. But also very strange!
I wasn't even watching. had it on in the background and heard him say the payouts and heard "check this out" . I don't think I've ever seen only $1 in any pool for Foster. Very fishy

It's very unusual. tmbz1
I've never seen it either. tmbz1
Fishy would be if they actual have a decent handle... ngc3
Not that gamblers avoid it like the plague... ngc3

these payoffs are proof that CAWs wont get involved if the pools are that small
a computerized correction would have been enacted if they were
I have noticed the same thing at Hawthorne--3/5 shots are occasionally paying more than $4 to place
it is not worth their(CAWs) time to get involved for peanut sized pools
there are other entities that are allowed to bet after the bell --but they are not "computer analyzed"
same at Cumberland/Bangor--2/1 shots suddenly go off 1/9 once the first turn is observed--certain betting after the race starts--- they are not CAW related-they are just venues that allow betting after the bell, and these bettors are not privileged to analyze the pools for unusual anomalies
not all betting after the race starts are CAW related(contrary to popular beliefs)-this is a prime example-there is a difference
this was not "pool manipulation" either-obvious by the size of the pool
betting after the bell by non CAWs, computerized analysis betting after the bell and pool manipulation are three separate issues
this race at Rosecroft had about $1300 total in the exacta pool and the prices were within the confines of an expected payoff-so there no was no CAW action and those who can bet after the race starts will not be making bets in the place pool
now I await responses that tell me all bets are timestamped and all bets are completely legitimate and made before the race starts ngc3
for those who still insist that all bets are "timestamped"-that is incorrect----if the bets are made before the race starts--- they are certainly timestamped-but the bets after the bell are placed in a category called "the last betting cycle"--a nebulous gray area where there is no magical timestamp-but the bets are welcomed-so no evidence can be traced to the practice of pick-pocketing --just for the sake of increasing handle-fleecing the common man everyday every day at most tracks that have a handle where it is worth it for them to get involved
in this case-i would say Trigger is correct--nobody noticed this anomaly at a track with tiny handle on a Monday
night
certainly nothing fishy--the pool size and payoffs are proof of that
