Hall of Famer David Miller just won with Tom Horn at Harrah's Philly, it was his final drive on the East Coast.
-
he said he was moving back to ohio
that was 5 years ago
-
good for Dave
he has had a remarkable career and driven many superstars
now he can race on the Ohio circuit as he planned
-
This was officially his last drive on the East Coast. Meadowlands even honored him last night. Harrah's Philly track announcer Mike Bozich had a testimonial for him prior to the race.
-
This might be his last full time drive on east coast but I am sure he will travel out there the next few years for the right horse

Purple scum bag
-
We wish him continued success
-
he likely wont get the right horse unless it comes from ohio
he wont be around new jersey to school and qualify babies and that's where it starts
-
I am very glad to see Dave relocate on his terms, his way, and so on. Whether he travels or not, comes east or not, does the grand circuit, all or in part.....I am very happy that it's up to him. If he wants the business, he'll go try and get it, and to some extent, he will. If he doesn't, he won't. Great for him. I wish him all the best!

Lots of good horses in Ohio and Burke will have many of them.

Dave Palone made the decision to drive almost exclusively at home. Probably is nice having a much easier schedule. Purple Jesus will still be able to make plenty of money in Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky on his own terms.

Cold beer sales in Ohio just went way up! ngc3
-
Dave has had an amazing career. He is cutting back & still earning in Ohio. The travel was getting to him. Good for him.
-
Great driver and great man! He should do very well in ohio and with noble seemingly out of the dayton/miami/scioto circuit he should fit in even better
-
always a plus when you can go out/cutback on your own terms

Agree

One of the best ever in my opinion. He's stayed at a high level for many decades and all things equal i still say he could compete with anyone.

I also agree with you!

Agreed. He's performed and maintained at the highest level for decades. As far as still competing, if he has the desire, yes, I agree. Time and age are undefeated, but he still has the skills and ability to compete. Desire is up to him.
