The Australian champion is running in NZ in the 1,000,000 NZ Cup over 2 miles from a standing start. They might run better than 3:50 seconds for 3200 meters which will destroy the record that Lazarus held
Leap to Fame has 73 starts 58 wins, 10 seconds and 3 thirds for over 5,000,000

Yes, he's a heck of a horse. He's a half to another champion who is a pretty good horse too. There was talk about Grant Dixon bringing this one over here, but why would he, LOL. Of course like every great horse Down Under, there was some talk about him being for sale. There are some owners who kind of focus on this kind of thing, so somebody might always be sniffing around, LOL. I watched a few if his races last year. I think he only lost one race the entire year.

He got beat by this 4yo in the big race yesterday. Check out, he's three wide the last lap of the 3/4 mile track and still won

love the racing style , exciting
i like that they have about 15 horses, that way you need more than the same 8 drivers in every big race
also notice the drivers are not laying back in the sulky
why a track in north america does not try this is beyond me( it needs to be a 7/8 or mile ) , of course you would lose some of the 70 year old $2 bettors bit think of all the new gamblers/wagering you would get with the payoffs available
likely to get some t bred bettors for sure
