Title: Saratoga starting car crashes
Post by: GypsyDancer1 on October 29, 2025, 05:56:26 PM: Saw pictures on FB of the starting car after it crashed through the fence after the beginning of the last race. Apparently no one was hurt but the car might be totaled. I wonder how that could happen?

Post by: Checked Up on October 29, 2025, 06:22:30 PM: Throttle stuck or malfunctioned,or brake failure. ( The Starter operates the Throttle from when he opens the wings until they begin to close,at that point the driver regains control so the Patrol Judge is in position to see the field) We will be lucky to hear officially no more than "Mechanical Failure " as the cause.
