Post by: themightythor on October 19, 2025, 09:46:43 AM
ronnie wrenn on louprint.i get it was an elim and the goal is to make the final but he was lost in that race and was so indecisive on what to do the whole mile. anyone who bitched at james on chantilly drive against older horses better have he same venom for ronnie. can someone send that boy a map so he can get around the track

it's pretty simple just put the horse on the front. air him out. no brainer. burkes horses don't stop.

I have watched the Chantilly race several times. It was a horrible drive but not nefarious like some people make it out to be. He did make a dangerous move in the stretch in that race and a fine/suspension is warranted for that. The choices MacDonald made in that race were bad but did have some logic. He should not have been sanctioned for those decisions.

Wrenn drove Louprint tentatively and that is why he lost. Louprint still only lost by inches. Gingras had some bad drives last night. He did not drive Louprint like he was the best.

I saw the Swingtown & the winner Dandy Ideal battling it out. Louprint had every chance to win the race. There was no excuse in my opinion. Dandy Ideal went the tougher trip. Gringras drive on Swingtown was awful. Let the winner go and engage again in the stretch. He cooked his horse horse and cost it a chance to race in the rich final.

There was nothing wrong with Wrenns drive. Your the clueless one. Swingtown and Dandys ideal right inside him are blasting off gate. Why would he want to Burn up Louprint in a meaningless 34k race.  Next week is when it matters. Im sure they wanted to win, but only beat a nose and hel'l be fresh for final. Finals are won in the elims. Keep them fresh for finals

I think the fear of drawing post 10 could be some incentive.

Back in the day, 80-90's Michael Forte.  An ok trainer but a stinker as a driver.  Got on the track at Yonkers, Monti with an upside down 1 win 100+ attempts records.  Horror show.

Drury is a sad case of a driver of today.  If this fucking idiot would learn how to actually drive, feel the horse, use some finesse, not just come out swinging for the fences looking for a homer with every horse, he wouldn't strikeout at the rate he does.  Beats the shit out of the horse and no money, without fail.

Losing would be a pleasure ride!  ;D

It will matter if he draws the 8 or 9 post.  It was not one of Wrenn's better drives. He drives a little more aggressively, he wins and get a good post.

Did James look very ordinary with the big boys in town. Not listed on one serious American owned horse. While I think he can drive one, there's no way he is anywhere near the level of those guys that compete day in day out throughout the states.

I liked to bet Forte's horses when he got someone else to drive.

Loved when everyone rushed through handicapping and missed that.  When he got a Case upgrade, every one knew.

I don't know if it was that so much as he didn't really have the best horse in any race. and in most cases not even the top 3 or 4. He's won his fair share of Grand Circuit events, in and out of Canada.

The top guys get the top drives. James is lost when he doesn't have one of his buddies giving him a hole. He's the best up there at mohawk for sure but he isn't top 10 that's for damn sure.

I think he needs to lose a little weight and he'll look like a winner.

What does a head weigh?  ngc3

louprint was in a bad spot
when you are 6 o 7 lengths back at the half you are in trouble
even if fractions are hot there is always a good horse who can slip out and come home strong which is exactly what happened, note the second 1/4 was 28.2 which is walking speed for these horses
as for lou print he came a back half in 52.3 and a last 1/4 in 25.4 parked two wide
not sure how much faster you expect a horse to go, there are physical limits even for a burke horse

The most clueless drive ever belong to a couple people in my opinion…

George Brennan on Allamerican Native 2 year old Breeders Crown, trying to bottom them out in the third quarter for absolutely no reason at all

https://youtu.be/pRke1pTx4gU

Funniest I can’t find is the night Georgian Downs ran the endurance races and Stephen Charlton thought he won , was show boating etc & they still had a lap to go…

Wrenn put him in that spot. I think Wrenn is good and I think Burke should use him more. This was not one of his better drives.

Dear Ugly Tranny Kenny,

Of course Burke will, he's used his cock coming out your mouth like every fucking day your consumed with it, at least now it's advice he already knows.

Sincerely,

Trigger
