Fastest mile by a 2 year old in history by a full second.
Beau Jangles can’t beat one half of this horse
-
LOL too funny …🤦♂️
-
horse was underwraps
im in racetrack steakhouse live watching
very nice colt
best move let dexter drive tmbz1
-
Unbelievable. Hoosier rigging their ISS draws to pit the best horses against each other finally pays off!
-
Where is royal richie Doyle at?
-
2 years can’t be supplemented
-
Odds on Mr Mamba fastest 2 year old pacing gelding ever, 1:47.4
Dancingdreamer fastest 2 year old pacing colt ever, 1:48.1
For the first time in a long time, Indiana has multiple grand circuit caliber 2yos
Neither staked to anything. Go figure...

Race caller wasn't excited about it in his call. On air guys were questioning if the timer was even correct. Very underwhelming calls for a world record mile. Good job Hoosier morons.

100% agree. A good race caller would’ve been ecstatic seeing a timer stop sub 148 for a 2 yo. This guy acted like he was calling a 5-claimer.

EPO running wild out in the Midwest. Wonder if this came from the Noble batch…
-
I looked at the chart and was surprised. My thinking was the horse won by 7-10 lengths. A big mile indeed and did all the work.
-
Will Wrenn have to race out of detention barn rest of season and next
-
After this mile , Breeders crown next ? 👑
Can he slay Beau Jangles ? tmbz1
Can he race against the best of them ?
Beau Jangles , Frantic Hanover , Al Papi , & so forth ?
-
Horse's sire was one of my favorite horses to watch back in the day. Too bad a douchebag owns this 2 year old. Hard to root for.
-
Mike: Are you heading to "Breakfast With Karl?" Maybe get a glimpse of those fake leathery
tits of that crooked Crawford bitch.
-
Royal Richie suffered an injury, not serious, so the connections had no choice, but to cut his season short! Hopefully, you will see those 2 battle next year! One thing I could not understand, was Dancing Dreamer in 48.1! Almost 4 seconds faster than his best time!!! Is Purple Jesus 4 seconds faster than Stutzman?? I guess so!!!

Could not agree more. What a botched call
-
Chamberlain knows nothing about harness racing handicapping, history, etc... Which detracts from his calls
Any other announcer that actually follows the sport would've known the second they crossed the wire that was an all-time performance. A track record, world record, etc.
As a T-bred guy, where times don't matter nearly as much, he had zero hunch or inclination that 147 was a special number for 2 year olds, which is just crazy
Should've been automatic to know any number sub 148 is a world record for 2 year olds
His handicapping picks are a complete and utter joke too... Has zero wise angles or insights into his selections. The first thing Gabe did was cut all of his handicapping segments and phase out the distribution of his picks, which I think was smart

LOL I've seen worse.

Why is buggy racing so infatuated with race times?
Rare to see Tbreds talk about time. It's sophomoric at best.
-
NOT SURE ABOUT THAT MILE.
The whole race went under 150. I doubt that very much.

Don't compare runners to harness racing. Two different breeds, two different sports.
-
Ya thanks for answering the question
-
Fast horse but I don't think he's up there with the big horses yet, if he will at all. Don't get me wrong, very nice horse though.
ce horse though.
-
I agree. The whole field went 150 or faster. I know they are nice 2 yr olds but the whole field? Naaaaaa and two came home in 25! NFW!

Because thoroughbreds have not gotten any faster in decades. They are at a dead end.

No Breeders' Crown for Odds On...He is not eligible and you can't supplement to the 2yo races.
Agree that the sire had some wicked speed and is not as well remembered as he should be. He was a top younger horse (2nd in Meadowlands Pace, and winner of others) and then raced FFA for 4 or so years after that. Could rip 25 and change quarters till he was 6 or so.

Dead end? May want to check the buggy racing pools vs. tbreds my man.
Who cares about records...you only have to beat who is in the race. Harness has it backwards.

Scott Ehrlich is available. They passed him up for this baffoon!!! His patented call “has won it”. I prefer watching the race on mute. He has no idea what he is watching.

I would guess this horse is eligible for the Championship Night this Friday. Let's see how easily he wins there. While they've made progress, beating a bunch of a Indiana breds is still beating a bunch of Indiana breds.....and that's a long way from winning the Metro, which of course is open company.

The BREED is at a dead end. Can you read?
-
His race is coming up soon, 10th at Hoosier.
-
Won it like he was supposed to. Eeeeeezee. I guess we'll have to wait until next year to see if he can do it against open company.

Very impressive he looked like he was doing it effortlessly the last 1/16th

This was a masterful DD drive.
Got the respect of everyone going in.
By the half it was over, 56 2/5.
You come off a lifetime mark the previous week this is the only game plan, and rarely pulled off, and it was executed to a tee.
DD picked up a Wilfong horse early on in that card, shaved 2-3 sec too in a romp. He's worth his weight in driver gold.
