Late night used to be a place to go and have a laugh before you went to bed.
Today it's nothing more than a continuation of 24 hour hate and fake news.

I was a big Leno fan, to this day I couldn't tell you his political view.

Kimmel is a piece of shit just like Colbert and Fallon. They think their political opinion means something but it doesn't and most people watching aren't there to hear it. None of those clowns can shine Carson's shoes.

I agree with that.  But as for the networks, when they fear too many will turn the channel, they have to act.

It's all cool that they silenced him and his right to free speech because he said something that you, or more specifically Donnie T, didn't like. He wasn't threatening anyone, just giving his opinion. Whether you think it was funny or not or whether you agree with it or not he has a right to say it. Imagine if you had your right to post here on the ole Plop terminated only because someone(s) disagreed with your take on something you posted ??

Not a single Republican, nor was he suspended or fired, was outraged when FOX commentator Brian Kilmeade made in appropriate remarks about homeless people:

“A lot of them don’t want to take the programs,” Jones said. “A lot of them don’t want to get the help that is necessary. You can’t give them the choice. Either you take the resources that we’re going to give you, or you decide that you’ve got to be locked up in jail.”

To that, Kilmeade responded, “Or involuntary lethal injection or something — just kill ‘em.”

Even Tucker Carlson spoke against this type of action: "Tucker Carlson is taking aim at the Trump administration and Israel, warning that officials are using the shocking murder of conservative activist Charlie Kirk as an excuse to restrict constitutionally protected speech in the U.S."

First amendment rights for me, but not for D's.

I was always pro free speech. My true lord and savior Donald J Trump was not. We must listen to God Trump.
Jimmy Kimmel is a worthless lefty rag.

Kimmel wasn’t exercising free speech. He was deliberately altering the truth to influence political viewpoints. I used to watch the late night shows for entertainment and laughs. Basically, to escape everyday politics.  I don’t want to listen to any late night crusaders. No thanks.

Looking at everything objectively, I’m seeing more and more history repeating itself.
That being the history of 1930s Germany.
