It's so embarrassing. Who is paying for these purses? Yesterday exacta with a 35-1 and 6-1 in race 1 paid $1.90 or something like that (nobody had it)

they get money from the online horse betting here in MI , it's total welfare , the track should be shut down

They have no way to take wagers on track.  You can only use an ADW.

The purse money there is granted by the state of Michigan as an Agricultural grant. Pari-mutual handle has no effect on it.

NJ carried it briefly the first two weeks now since then they took the signal off

Purse money is from an agricultural grant? Never heard of such a thing? Is that common? is it taxpayer $$? Something doesn't seem right.

When the meet started the track was about 5-6 inches deep. Now that it's been  packed and rolled and screened multiple times the surface has finally reached the point where it needed to be. The prior condition that was raced on also created some "ultra tight" horses IMO!
