Are you kidding me! He hung around Renee Poulin for years. It doesn’t get any lower.
-
Was he the CHANSKY that did time in prison for horse abuse?
-
It was more than abuse he was killing horses for insurance money.

I didn't know Poulin personally but seeing him wandering around the Yonkers casino broke and asking for money was kind of satisfying.
-
I believe the NJ State Police got Chansky. That was the Meadowlands had barns & the State Police had an equine division.
-
before they popped this assclown they had him racing out of detention...his training percentage went from absurdly ridiculous to off the board awful.
Which in and of itself is a damning indictment on anyone.

I think his name was Dan. Maybe his father.
-
He had a hot wife.

Why was it satisfying? You get off seeing a sickly poor victim suffer?

what about the poor victims that Renee screwed over? How many owners and trainers did he borrow money from that never pay them back? What about the horses that he ruined with multiple injections and milk shaking do you feel bad for them??
I didn't know he was sickly I wish him well there I happen to know him personally he's trash

Sandy Goldfarb was ripped off by Poulin? Not likely. Name one horse that Poulin injured or killed.

ask the Three Musketeers stable about nia fran (wrong pipe tubed)
And by the way, why is he hanging around begging for money? Why can’t he get a job? Because he never worked a day in his life.

Racing under the son’s name & a friend’s name at Shenandoah with the Warnick team so I’ve been told.
-
That's the old days, he's not a factor at all anymore.
-
Went into private practice. Can be reached at the firm of LaPoff, Flis, Chansky and Abbott.

he was certainly was involved in the strange payoffs era at freehold
early to mid 90s--Poulin, Parker, Brennan, Morrill, King--all involved in short payoffs--like a $40 horse in the win pool but the exacta only comes back in the $30 range for $2
short trifectas also often
he should have plenty of money stashed away from those profits
-
I worked for Norman when he was breaking in Rene, and then the business corrupted him, sadly.

poor man? Rene created his own destiny by gambling, drugging horses and cheating. He also was not trustworthy. He would borrow money and not pay it back because he was a degenerate gambler along with drugs.

Poulin also got in big trouble juicing TB's at Belmont Park......real POS
-
Chansky & Poulin were cheats & got caught. It is unfortunate how dirty the sport is.
