180 days and $12,000 in fines for whipping at Monticello.
-
He's done. Who's gonna use him IF he could pay the fines and keep his license? I'd say
best thing for him overall. He's tried and failed. Time to move on and find a steady job.

Couldn't be happier to see this asshole get handed 120 days! I'm hoping they revoke his license PERMANENTLY. Horse abuser and he beats on women...needs to go away PERMANENTLY!
-
I hear he's back driving

the Judges have referred Dan Rawlings to the Commission for a determination as to his character and fitness to hold a racing license in the State of New York.

Well, he is down to drive a bunch Tuesday and Wednesday at Monticello so I guess they haven't determined anything yet.

Seriously can't understand how he gets out of these suspensions. He got out of the last one. Never served a day of it. Said "stayed". Wtf is he doing to get out of it??? Kissing someone's ass or has one hell of a lawyer. Monticello kisses his ass. They love him there. Makes me gag. One reason I stopped playing Monti. I noticed he stopped driving at Saratoga. Guess they don't want him there. Only place he has been driving is Monti and Tioga (the other shit hole)

Stayed just means it's under appeal. He didn't beat it.
-
Look at some of these other drivers were 30 to 40 fines a year for excessive use of the whip and what about the guys getting fined for kicking a horse it just depends on who you are
