Done for rest of the year with a suspensory issue. Really liked the colt and feel bad for Wallin. Will be interesting if Scotty picks up one for the rest of the year

They asked Scotty first to take Super Chapter than went to Yannick in Hambo he chose to stick with MM. Don’t know if he will get that chance again.

he was offered the drive on Super Chapter?
both he and DD turned him down for other horses--which means they must know something

He was offered the drive on whoever Dexter didn’t choose.

I think Scott was always committed to MMS through the winter but when he was late to come back the assumption is that with him being Melander’s #2 he was given the chance to stay with him after winning the EBC.

Thank you for the update.
Terrible news, he was so ready.
I had crazy Hambo dreams for Meshuggah but I used MMS with him on a ton of wagers.
Win or lose, hearing about an injured horse is awful, I'm not that kind of bad guy, people yes, animals, never.

poor Super Chapter...not only getting disrespected by two top drivers....
..but they stuck him with YG who is like 1-15 in Hambletonians
poor horse deserved better

Snyder will give Scotty the drive in a New York minute. Especially after Yannick's drive in the Hambo. That's if Dex doesn't bolt from Maryland which is entirely possible.
-
Snyder had Cams Card Shark if my memory is correct
its all a blur-that was 30 years ago

Think Scott might be better fit on Maryland. He could use a few covered up trips to fire off cover. Dex likes the front end and so does Super Chapter

Yes Snyder had Cam's Card Shark. That was a good year for 3 year olds..also Magical Mike, Pacific Rocket,Expensive Scooter and Falcons Future
-
Super Chapter and Maryland only cross paths two more times in the near future. Ky Futurity and Breeders Crown. If they let Yannick keep driving Super Chapter there crazy. Zeron get's along much better with a trotter than Yannick and would be a better fit.

He's had a large number of great horses, he's spent good money on quality stock. He's good for the game.

Yes, certainly in the mid 90s he had a group of top horses
I attended several M1 Paces in those days
I can remember Cams Card Shark paid $4 to win and that was a gift-i was thrilled
Lohmeyer/Moiseyev drew a ton of money on Pacific Rocket
the good old days

Just an FYI, by the time of the Meadowlands Pace, Pacific Rocket was already being trained by Bill Robinson.
Pacific Rocket, with Moiseyev, finished second in his elimination, to another Robinson horse, Expensive Scooter (who was driven by Campbell). Cam’s Card Shark won the other elimination (also with Campbell). And as they say, the rest is history.
