Post by: racing123 on August 04, 2025, 06:23:48 PM
If you were a fan of Chicago racing when it was good, you knew who Mike was. Covered Illinois racing for MANY MANY years. 83 and was covering what's left of our sport in this state up until his death. cancer sucks...RIP Mike - a true harness racing fan

Yes, Mike poured his soul into harness racing when it actually meant something in the Chicago area.  He will be missed.  He used to do a show with Eleanor Flavin that was so good.  Eleanor was a sweetheart, and very easy on the eyes.  Man, where does time go?

Rest in peace, Mike. Terrible news. Last bastion of Chicago harness racing.  Loved his show with Eleanor.

He truly loved the sport.

The long anticipated summit of handicapping with Krish and Paradise on . was is it Sportschannel?

Krish said to Mike "  well Mike you tend to pick the chalk"

Paradise loved the 1/5s.

RIP Mike Paradise.

RIP Mike, a great guy with a great sense of humor. He lived Harness and in my mind he was very similar to Mike Antonidis (sp) if you know him, both very knowledgeable !
