The Adios will go off around 4:15pm and the Hambletonian eliminations start at 8:25pm, or thereabouts. Unless the drivers go 100 miles an hour they won't make the first one. Who pays for the chopper?

How about a pterodactyl? ngc3
Civilian / Commercial Helicopters are typically used for trips from distances like Yonkers to the BigM.
Almost 400 miles in a helicopter ride which would travel at speeds of average 125 mph. Over 3 hrs I personally don't think so.
Now I'd like to know because my money is on Pittsburgh to Newark 1h15 flight, and 15 drive to the Big M.

Do the drivers pay for the chopper? Planes are too unpredictable and have delays. They need a chartered chopper just for them. If all go in one chopper they must split the cost.
-
They will fly a private plane in to Tetoboro airport right beside the Meadowlands. Pretty easy
-
Pretty shitty of the Meadows to make the Adios the next to last race. Seems like it was on purpose.

This has been this way for years. These guys use a small plane to fly between tracks on days like this.
-
And I am pretty sure the owners eventually end up with the bill.
-
i aint flying in no chopper ...ever!!

Who ever ends up with the bill and pays for it like the owner, it's doing so with some welfare proceeds from the purses and gambling money from some of us.
The house wins! ;D

They will fly private charter from Pittsburgh to Teterboro, 5 minute car ride from there to paddock.
From wheels up to wheels down , 75 mins . No TSAetc
-
The drivers bill the trainer....traine r sends bill to owner
-
Drivers take a private plane between the two tracks. This happens multiple times a year and been going on for years

At Plop their imagination can run wild.
Someone thinks I'd like to see a pink turd shaped like a donut.
And poof, we enter Krispy Krap to check it out! ;D
