Who do you like? A frontrunner or three, and a few of the expected frontrunners are here but not quite there, behind schedule, a step or two behind, and so on.
Melander looks like he has Super Chapter right where he wants him and August 2 might not come soon enough, and Maryland is making up for lost time, lost ground, etc. Lucas Wallin's colt was the wise guy colt over the winter, and he still might be. Still has a ways to go, but has the talent. Pinske's colt was dominant and just seems to be getting better with each start. I am not completely sold yet, but Saturday night he showed a lot. Big mile. It's the next few weeks that separates the pretenders from the contenders.
So who you do like?

Super Chapter is the obvious favorite
but Ake has been known to play rope-a-dope and one of his pieces might have a lot more than we have seen

I both like and am rooting for Super Chapter. I'm a Jeffrey Snyder fan. Nice man and family. Saw him
in the winner's circle last week and he certainly hasn't gotten any better looking though. ;D
