Paulding County is a fucking dump
It's where the other 87 Counties in Ohio take their trash
-
easy money for Rene allard. like taking candy from a baby right RENE?
by the way you have a girls name. and the titties to go with it.

Knowing Clegg's history, some are probably in two or three times. ngc3 ngc3 ngc3

Don't know about that but you can bet they'll be in to go at Circleville this weekend.
They bash on him relentlessly, perhaps for good reason, but I will say it takes a lot of
work to take and race 12 horses clear up to the corner of the state.

In tomorrow at Paulding.

Just watched the 10th, Nick over drove his horse and caused him to go off stride and pretty much walked across the wire dead last, the other horse he had in the race that just qualified in 59 flat at Northfield 4 days ago, was off stride for most of the race and probably finished in 2:10 at best.
-
Clegg ends up with one win, one 2nd, one 3rd. Not exactly blasting out of the blocks but
there will be several hundred more starts ahead for his horses by the time Lancaster wraps thing up in Oct.
-
other than being at the track--can anyone make a bet on these races?
-
Atleast 2yr Olds are limited to 1 start per day this year! tmbz1
-
No betting other than in person. In fact the number of fairs with pari-mutuals is dwindling,
as apparently the costs of paying the betting operations are going up and it doesn't make
it profitable to have betting at many. Still, let's face it, Ohio is LIGHT YEARS ahead of other
states with their fair program. The free live streaming and programs are nice and it's fun
to see how you would have done, had you been there.
-
Ohio has always had a great county fair program. It's where all my families horses did most of their racing back in the day. Good times!! I believe Bitter is correct, that only wagering is on track with the exceptions of Delaware and the state fair races are at Scioto.
-
JT hit the nail square on the head! I now look forward to Ohio fair season the same way I looked forward to summer vacation as a kid! If you do a bit of "homework " prior to race day, there is definitely money to be made. I attended about 7 fairs lest summer and was able to double my bank roll (including expenses) with ease. If you pay attention to the probable playoffs and bet accordingly, you will be able to prevent betting against your own money. A keen eye for quality horse flesh is also essential i.m.o.! Good luck to all those who thrive gambling into a pool full of inexperienced horse players!! tmbz1

Back at Paulding today [they score only 5 wide] 19 heats . Clegg 'ONLY' has 8 in today.

Fairs in Ohio used to be a place where the little guy could race ones that aren’t stakes caliber, have fun and maybe make a little money. Guys now will win a $40k Sire Stake on Saturday and drop them in the fair Tuesday for a training mile while stealing a few grand. Beaver, AMac, Weaver, etc jamming these things in. Hell even Virgil will do it toward the end of year to see if he can get points and grab another $20k in Fair Final

2 wins 2 2nd's and a third for Clegg. On to Circleville Sat
-
15 races both Sat + Sun at Circleville . Clegg has 7 in each day. I'm sure most coming off
racing at Paulding [June 9th +10th] but I'm sure he wishes he could have snuck in another
start for them before this weekend. You have to make sure they're tight. ;D
-
Clegg ends up with 4wins 4 seconds 3thirds from 14 starters at Circleville this weekend.
Matinee at Delaware Co. Fairgrounds Tuesday 17 heats. Beaver has 23 horses entered.
Brian Brown only 7.

Is OHHA broadcasting the fairs?
-
Absolutely. I think every one of them, even when they have multiple fairs racing on a certain day.
Programs too. tmbz1

Unless I miss my guess, Ottawa is next. Marion always run on and around July 4th.
-
I was right. tmbz1 Next up Ottawa Mon. 17 heats [3pm post]and that'll be a good name for them 'IF'

Ohio is overbred

In classic plop fashion, I feel I should say 'So is your mom' but I'm a bigger man than that. ;D
-
So they raced at Ottawa today and my it's been oppressive outside. Clegg two winners , a 2nd + 3rd.
There were 12 horses on the card that there were no tickets sold. One of those went gate to wire
by 14 lengths. 17 more delicious beauties carded for tomm. Don't forget the water and sunscreen. ;D

They count these races as parimutual wins at Yonkers and Monticello. Races where there are 29 dollars in the win pool.
-
Wrapping up Ottawa . 17 races today. 1win 5 2nd and a 3rd from 13 starters.
Only 5 horses today were no tickets sold. On to Marion.
-
Racing Tomorrow [21 heats] + Tuesday [20 heats] at Marion. Clegg has 9 in Mon. 10 on Tuesday.
Seniors in free before noon Monday. Programs on line [OHHA] an hr. before post time [11 am] ,
though not positive there is wagering. Just called Fairgrounds, no answer. Always call before
going out to some of these fairs. More and more aren't offering wagering.
-
For what it's worth, there is wagering available.
-
Marion wrapped up. Monday rained quite a bit prior to the races which pushed them back 40 minutes.
Made a change to score only four rather than 5 with the wings of starting gate closed. Monsoon soon
into the card. Generally a mess. Not well run. No post parades. Just horses wondering around. As for
the numbers. Clegg had a win, a second, and three thirds as well as a catch drive win. There were 36
horse that had no win tickets sold in 21 races.
Today Clegg had 2 wins, 3 seconds, and 2 thirds with 'ONLY' 13 horses going unbet. Don't have a Huff's
guide , so unsure the next stop on the circuit. It won't be long before fairs will start overlapping.
