I have been following Plainridge for past 2 years and I've never seen Ranger struggling to get wins. What's going on? I would always bet him last year . This year I wouln't bet him with someone else's money. only 13 wins seems off for this guy.

13? I think he has only 5
-
He missed the first 3 weeks but he still is not winning like usual.

I was thinking it was more like 5 also. But it says he is 13/80 ..hard to believe that. and 8 place and 8 show.
I know he wasn't there early on but he's had some zero effort drives. Not like him
-
Alot of his drives have been on longshots, especially when he first came back. There will come a time when his age catches up to him.

That would be his stats including his Maine drives. Biggest con man in harness racing as far as acts like the nicest guy and friends with everyone but a back stabbing trash talker. Like a normal horsemen no fucking good. Had/has t
Driving talent though no doubt. If he continues to struggle he will retire again.
-
When all said and done, he will be in top 3 if not top 2 at the end of the meet. Just warming up. Lindy Farms back in town and the wins will be coming.
-
It will take some time to get back on some power. 3 weeks off has hurt him getting the live drives, Most trainers are loyal to the last driver on their horse. Once they pick off, Ranger will be back winning again. Even Beckwith, who drives power, has cooled off. Driving wins are being spread out

Bruce Ranger 2025 Plainridge Park leading driver! ;D tmbz1
-
I think you boys jumped the gun...lol
-
Glad to see Bruce doing well. He drove a few of my terrible horses at Pompano and was always great in the paddock to me and my partners. He and his ex-wife Lisa had a decent sized stable with some nice horses. He had some self admitted problems for some years, but I understand he's doing fine now. I'm glad he's back living in Maine and having great success at Plainridge.
-
He is the leading driver
-
WINNER OF THE 2025 DRIVING TITLE AT PLAINRIDGE IS BRUCE RANGER.
-
When we had our four cheap claimers at Pompano. Ranger did well against a pretty good driver colony. We had Wally "World" Hennessey, Kevin Wallis, Joe Pavia Jr. , Tom Harmer, and Kelly Sheppard. Bruce must be in his mid-60's now. Still winning a lot of races.

He wont always gut a horse from the 8 hole but.... Isnt he winning the driving title?? ngc3 ngc3

Just looked up the ages of the final driver standings for the 2025 season
1. Ranger 66
2. Beckwith 22
3. Graffam 32
4. M Cushing 27
5. Athearn 27
He's obviously lost a step, but he's still the one to beat, keeping the young guns aware of his presence. 40-year gap on most
-
What a year he had. Missed the 1st 2 weeks for a whipping violation in the last race in 2024. Doesn't drive for the 2025 leading trainer (Athearn). Drives very few for Nickerson. Heck, he didn't even drive all of Lindy farms horses this year. Only drove a few for Mark and a few for Cullipher. You figure all that in, this year may have been his best driving year at Plainridge for the past few. Can't wait until next year. 11.wp 11.wp
