nice to see the 4 yr old KSS getting started
their presentation enjoyable to watch
the announcer is very good and calls a great race
Ray that does the handicapping angle also very good, knows the sport, understands the betting angle and has a personality
now compare that to the total lack of anything that tracks like meadows, northfield, miami valley serve up , oh yeah they play music!!
give oak grove credit for trying to do something to help the sport and gamblers

Brown jug, I agree with your Oak Grove assessment. The handicapper is sharp, but does share eccentricity with his father, a longtime writer in the sport ( I try to avoid Dad’s columns in Harness Racing Update).
As for between-race music, it, too, drives me nuts. Serves absolutely no purpose at all. Yes, there is a mute button, but at times, one gets distracted, and may miss a program change or the start of a race.

We know Northfield is famous for their music playlist but I have to give credit to Kenny Livengood their announcer. He comes on after the post parade to go over his selections and I think he does a solid job. You can tell he's paying attention.
Then the music plays lol

Miami Valley is ridiculous. Scratches, post parade, calls race, finish and that's it.

Dover and Harrington are pretty much like that too, but at least there's no annoying music like some tracks have.
