Might as well make this thing the new barn pet because he can't function now. Maybe call Fillion and see if they could at least throw in some lube???
-
Not sure how you can judge that frankly. He essentially ran an almost identical Qua. as Bythemissal. Is he a pet too?
-
it was about 35 degrees and the track was very wet
i am not making excuses for the horse-i could care less
but staring at the clock on these qualifiers on cold, wet mornings is complete nonsense
-
No big deal. It’s not like he was a million dollars.
-
Three decent qualifiers. Why would anyone get pleasure from heaping scorn on someone else's horse?
-
I have been a fan of this horse since day one. I thought what happened was horrible. In that last start last year, I was worried the horse wouldn't survive, with no thought of him making it back to the races. I was simply concerned about the horse after he absolutely imploded. As an owner, I wanted to see the buyers seek justice and go after the sellers legally, but that was their choice. The buyers got what they got.
As far his qualifier today, well, don't forget what a third qualifier is for. Like I said last time, I don't think he looked good. In the big picture, week to week, I don't think he looked good. Forget about his gait, stride, getting a hold of the track, soundness, etc.----- I don't think he finished well. I don't think he had a lot in the tank. I don't think he had any real power, pacing forward, wasn't on the bit, in the bridle, etc. It looked to me like Dexter asked him and the horse had little answer so Dexter stopped asking. If he comes back as a top performer-----which is what I'd love to see-----I'd be very, very surprised. I hope I am wrong and the horse just needs more time, needs to race into shape, etc.
-
Remind me how much money you win for a qualifier
-
No EPO, no go...horse is addicted to it..

It's not for pleasure but when you have Andrew Harris chirping how incredible he qua last start out and Dexter says this or says that - It's all bullshit. I don't dislike the horse as he hasn't any say. I do have issue with Harris and his constant spewing of lies. This kid has NEVER been able to tell the truth and gossips more than a woman in the laundry matt.
-
Harris is better at schmoozing people than training horses by far. He isn’t a top conditioner and would really look terrible without his owners essentially buying top talent instead of developing it. Even then he is mostly average.

Interesting how the talk about the horse becomes hatred about the trainer. LOL.
Anyway, personally, I hope the horse is OK, races safe and comes back healthy. Professionally, I wish it were a bigger field, and I would hope he goes off 1-9, LOL.
-
1-9 would be wonderful! The way Century Komodo finished up last week + short field , I like him best in there.
-
I'm not going to bet him but I hope he wins

Komodo will be a solid fave....but anything goes at Mohawk these days

Tell us you don't know a.harris without telling us you don't know him...

All in all, that was a decent first start back. Time will tell if he continues to improve. tmbz1

Yes, rather encouraging. Rallis said that he had a screw in his ankle which was news to me. Rallis is a useful on air person.
-
Rallis is so much better than the clueless clown doing the paddock interviews now at Meadowlands.

raced well
epo won't stop them from drifting 5 wide in the stretch

Was a decent Gold OSS horse that unfortunately was in the hands of a couple of well-known dirt bags. They jammed him with EPO and Fillion drove him to show the horse off as the plan was always to sell if someone came calling. They got caught and are gone for life and rightfully so. AS for the horse, he will never be a top horse as he was never a top horse. I'd just wish the owners would've flexed and taken those scumbags through the courts and cost them at least a quarter million in legal fees. As it were, the horse is in good hands now and can race without worrying about getting injected with some synthetic drug. Kudo's to that Pollock guy, seems like he really loves the horses---which makes him the opposite of most of the rich guys.

Good hands? Not getting injected with synthetic drugs? Lmaof

That's all you have? You can't differentiate between someone injecting EPO to someone injecting acid into an ankle? Harris is living his best life after grinding for the better part of a decade for others, primarily Casie. I don't know him personally but have crossed paths in more than one paddock and he was always pleasant. Or you're French. Either way, it's a bad look---do better my friend.

That's what you think. Horses get tired and drift. They don't get tired on EPO.
-
Andrew Harris can make all the excuses he wants about operations, bottom line is his owners got taken down.
-
You are such a breath of fresh air, do you pull wings off flies in your spare time?
-
I don't know anything about a screw in his ankle. That aside, while I've always been a fan of this horse, first start back and all.....he didn't look so good. While I am sure he needs a few starts to be really tight and race-fit, he doesn't look like he just needs a few starts and all is fine.
