Over $70K bet on the race in question, doesn't sound pitiful to me.
People keep trashing Monti meanwhile they are one of the highest handling harness tracks around.

Regardless of pool size, by all accounts a dump. Shitty races, marginal announcer, crooked + poor drivers,
small purses, can barely fill cards and races, apparently shitty surface and track crew. So yes I stand by
an earlier statement: Shut it down already. On another note, Bello was correct. That Kelley 'IS' a B driver
up north. Western Fair, Flamboro, probably others, gets the occasional drive at Mohawk. Would do well
there if he is that desperate.
