Solid Ontario circuit horseman Colin Kelly on way stateside. Jared Bako his connection. Hopes to get other connects NY/PENN/NJ. How long, who knows.
Up in these parts, we know driver Colin as SOLID B track player (Flam, Grand River, W Fair with occasional forays to Mohawk.)
.290 pct kinda guy on the B.
Will fit in barn and on track if opportunities present themselves.
Good luck to him..and hopefully betting him works for all of us.

his drives here were drying up....he has issues and for awhile was a no show for his drives....too many times

He should do good with a change of scenery. He really seemed to be well on his way to a great career than almost regressed a bit or plateaued a bit. I’m sure it’s a lot to always be at your best driving at that level with the commitment and travel. Hope he does well with a fresh start.

not sure of the "issues" you speak of
also commitment and travel ??, first its your job , and two there is almost no travel in Ontario ,most guys live 30 minutes from flam, london, mohawk

It's very difficult for any outsider to break into any of the east coast tracks, most of the best drivers are already spoken for.

Met him through a friend of mine. Started out late, but did pretty good at home. Not so uncommon story, kid leaves home, suitcase, car, and some job in an area he has no idea about. LOL. Landed in Ontario, went all over and didn't do to bad right with limited opportunities. He was passionate, but young, and at times a bit impatient. But he's matured.
I think he was working with or for Chantal Mitchell at some point, but I don't know the details. I do know he's friendly (and partners) with Luc Ouellette. I am not sure who is backing him, giving him horses, drives, or what, coming down here, but like all the others, we'll soon see.

I believe he's helping Jared Bako up at Mark Ford's farm at the moment
