Looks like he gets a 2 week vacation from now until the end of the month from a positive from a race back in May. What a joke, I'm sure that will really affect his operation in the dead of winter. The horse tested positive for minoxidil which is used to regrow hair and treat high blood pressure.. I wonder if him or any of his staff take it for baldness and there was contamination lol.

Interesting "contamination" story here:

More bullshit, Just let everybody take their vacations in the winter. Rinse and repeat.

As a long time trainer I can assure you that if you're looking for fair and equitable treatment, you've come to the wrong place. Here's one example, my friend Ted got a positive and he basically was tied to the cross and eventually made the decision to quit the business. Matt Bax got a positive, a class one to boot, pushed it back for a year but not before selling a trotter on ongait for massive money. He's now serving a reduced sentence while training down his babies. If that doesn't illustrate how justice is served then I can't help you.

Ake's been bald for over 20 years!!!!
-
Maybe his wife uses it.

AgentQ, you are so correct. Little guys get ruined. Big guys don't miss a beat.
And your examples aren't one offs.
They happen like that all the time.
It's the piece of the business I hate the most.

Since Jeff gural owner of meadowlands is partners (little E stable) with Ake Svandstedt on a bunch of horses. ARE YOU SURPRISED!!!!!! That he gets days in winter when all the stakes races are finished!
-
you think it's fair? ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3 Minoxidile isn't contamination positive either. It's a huge vasodialator in sports.

It is actually worse than you stated.
