Title: Insider Trading / Insider Claiming ?
Post by: makingit on November 19, 2024, 08:40:24 PM
Yonkers Race 3.  The winning horse is trained by Daquet.  The new claiming owner also uses Daquet to train his horses.  Does this happen a lot ?  Seems that the trainer can't serve two different owners equally and might be a conflict. Giving advise to one owner where to properly enter a horse and then tell their other owner that the horse is a steal at that claiming price. I don't know. But again, does happen regularly?

Never mind. They just edited the original chart and took off the Daquet name from the owner making the claim. They must have caught the mistake.

Just like the old pea and 3 shells, it happens right before your eyes.

Impossible to have a beard at Yonkers. The USTA is cracking down on it. Joe F. is a USTA bigwig & runs Yonkers. That means no shenanigans at his track.
