Title: Horseman sues HISA...

This trainer says he is entitled to a trial by jury (not penalized/punished from a private hearing/process), and if he doesn't get it----it's a violation of the 7th Amendment (and he sites a recent US Supreme Court case (an SEC case)).

Update on the suspension, but the lawsuit will continue.

HISA is most likely the only hope for a level playing field.

Without question. Sad that not more people see/feel this. More sad that the defenders of status quo have to fight and sabotage the efforts being put forth.

The industry has no one to blame but themselves.  Just this year the #1 trainer served a lengthy suspension, the #3 trainer is currently suspended, the #1 trainer in Canada has been kicked out of the sport, one of the top drivers in Canada has been forced to retire, one of the sports top horses tested positive after the 2nd or 3rd biggest race in the sport and has been sidelined since, a husband and wife in Ohio got 6x positives for meth and only got minimal time, rumors of more top horses catching positives in another one of the biggest races in the sport, rumors of trainers in Ohio not racing the actually named in horse at fair races, racing two year olds 30+ times and essentially none of this even gets reported by the governing bodies.

I love the sport but it’s gross

Without question. Look at the people making efforts to support HISA and improve the sport and industry. Then look at those who are hecklers, critics, synics, and saboteurs. What the USTA is doing here is deplorable in my mind. You will see more and more state associations support HISA and not the USTA and their efforts.
