Stop with the obvious questions and obvious answers
Interviews are really boring and same old boring questions
-
Hollywood Hayden is a historian, but bettors don't care about that stuff.

I like historical stuff
But Wdf same fckin questions and stuff every fckin telecasts

I wouldn't be surprised if the people he's interviewing are prepped on what questions he's going to ask.
-
john rallis is thinking , i have no idea wtf you are talking about holly and I'm just focused on todays races trying to cash a ticket

If I hear another muscle hill
Story I’m
Going to go crazy ngc3 ngc3

Does Hollywood even know it's 2024, he is so living in the past!
-
Not a bad interview for the filly Futurity. Maybe they should let Butenschoen conduct the interviews though - I too would like to know what Ake was saying to Todd down the backstretch ngc3
-
As poor as Ake's English is, Todd wouldn't have been able to understand it anyway!
-
fuck Ake...he did the same thing to Wallin with Cuatro in the Hambo a couple years back aboard Captain Corey. Love this filly Melina, a little peanut of a horse with a big heart

Agreed. She is just a little minute of a thing and just goes and goes.
And yeah, I laughed aloud watching Ake get so angry. McCarthy drove like he had the best horse. Ake's just mad he didn't saunter to the front and try to back it down, per his usual M.O.

I like Bob & believe he deserves a place in the game. His interviews are better than most...in my opinion.
-
Not sure why Gural fired him, I think he works at Hoosier Park.
-
I think Hollywood is in the HOF. Enough said.

He bores his audience to death with statements like: "This horse's grandfather won this race 20 years ago.". I think he got the ax from Jew boy Gural by asking for a raise which nobody will get from that kike.
-
He's been around forever and is a harness historian, but most people aren't interested in what sire won the Kentucky Futurity 40 years ago.
-
I was at The Red Mile today, and could not really hear any of the interviews. Either the sound system really sucked or just did nit reach where I was hanging out.
Temporary tote beard was also pretty poor. I had use my phone to get info.
-
Can he check on the group that bets after the bell and ask how much that costs
-
Like many who are Meadowlands based, I know Bob forever. While he's more knowledgeable than most people give him credit for, he's been pigeon-holed and handcuffed into a role of historian, statistician, obscure facts, etc. He's always wanted to be that handicapper, play-by-play, commentator type. When he's tried to expand his role and scope, he is usually overshadowed by others he was working with. Tough spot. He's had a good, long career, HOF worthy, and will probably always be able to add something to the offering.
Some people will like him while others won't. Like with anybody, LOL.
-
Agreed, overall i like him and his interviews are ok
just needs to find the right role
surely he could add some handicapping insights at some track on a regular basis, god knows most of them need it

Heyden is a living legend. Got to meet him at Hoosier last year. tmbz1
