Title: Is this fair to the young horses at Batavia?

You have young horses racing against seasoned horses with fast times to boot!

Thoughts and input please!

RACE 9 - Batavia Downs - NY - September 11, 2024
Conditions: NW $1,250 LAST 5 STS OR OPT CL $5,000 AE: NW 2 EXT PM RACES LT
Gait: Pace Purse: 5,000 Class: NW1250L5 Distance: 1 mile Track Cond: FT Temp-Allow: 78-0 Off Time: 8:40 PM

I have seen some similarly weird races at Harrahs Philly with horse combinations that appear blatantly unfair, but they did not involve 2 year olds. Personally I would not be entering a 2 year old in this particular race.

Probably a 4 year old n/w of 2 against aged horses. Tough road to go if n/w of 2.
