Title: Sunday Red Mile
Post by: dinkadoo on August 25, 2024, 05:19:42 PM
Race 1
Interesting Gingras cuts mile last week and sets world record.

This week ducks off the gate, stablemate gets the win and goes off the favorite.

Odds board told you everything you needed to know.

Gingras - doesn’t hit the board

Mini bridge jumper is sick 🤢 right now. .

No it just means the Burke horse that Wrenn drove got the good drugs this week.  Burke and Bruscemi own a piece of both but the other owners of each horse is different. Gotta keep them all happy.

Maybe Louprint is a better horse and the wise guys know it.  He was the slight favorite in the world record race and an experienced handicapper has to figure that a baby pacer setting a world record is going to bounce his next race. or they don't want to roast him like quite a few babies have already done this year.  Personally I think Louprint is a better horse but we will see at the end of the year.

Anyone questioning why Louprint would have been favored over the other Burke horse yestersay is not well informed. The one time they raced vs one another Louprint ran a 25 1/5 last quarter and simply ran out of racetrack. And more than that, Ron Burke has recently been quoted about Louprint saying "I think he's our best colt - maybe in a long time."

I haven’t seen anyone question why the other is favorite.

My question is why Yannick in the 3 hole, inside the favorite duckrd off the gate ? Certainly not at least giving him and the bettors money ( show bettor took a dump) at least a chance.

I played Lou, the odds board said which Burke horse was live. Exacta paid very well
