Not the ass clown you want "driving" a trotter from the rail---too stupid.

This just in: Amac apologizes in his video---he screwed up in the 2nd race today.
Pay your bills////Pay your bills!

The guy has more excuses. All he knows how to do is send. Terrible driver. But remember keep paying the phony bills for your pony. It's all about the experience.LOL

Yet he's making more money then 98% of the people in horse racing

So Did Al Capone And Bernie Madoff.

It's ironic how years ago when he started TheStable, that he openly admitted to not being that great of a driver. Yet he never puts down a catch driver when the big money is on the line, you always see him driving.

same Amac who just finished 3rd in the Adios and 2nd in Milstein?

ITS EASY TO WIN IN NON WINNERS OF 1 OR 2 WITH 100K DOLLAR SALE PURCHASES. THE ROI FOR HIS INVESTORS IS NOT GOOD OVER ALL.

Do you think Pollack and the Determination see ROI

Is there anywhere in harness racing that has a consistently good ROI??

Been with him severals years. Only lost money 1 year. If you’d notice he has a very good driving percentage on his own stable. He is more productive when he drives them because he knows the horse. Everyone needs to get over your AMAC obsession. You’ll must be such great trainers i would assume you’re turning owners away since you’re so successful yourselves.

Amazing .
The guy has over 3,000 wins as a driver.
Did ok at one time.

When someone walks into a casino odds are they will lose but they have a small shot and get some comp back and can see top shows,, but with Anthony i read BS posts as i believe it has to be him writing many of his positive posts,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, If someone Is a real bad poker player and Tells me that he wins every year i do not need a lie detector test to know he is full of BS,,,,,,,,,,, Every person i know with him gets killed,,,,,,, Plus lets face the truth that he runs a high powered operation ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Also if he is the trainer then why the hell not put your name on paper,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Also many on this site few people still work and do the charge their boss gas money when they arrive and truth is i would rather use a top catch driver at a track than pay for Dex dunns flight ,food , hotel and car rental and i am speaking dexter dunn,,,,,,,,,,Bill robinson and Ron burke used the jealous angle,,,,,,,,,,,,,, NO one is jealous of a thief but good people do not want to see them get rich so FFFFFF THOSE PEOPLE WHO SAY JEALOUS and when JENNY FROM AROUND THE BLOCK posts about ROI its about a wrong and posting about a wrong is not jealous and that did not make any poster who posted about RICHARD MOREAU a jealous poster because he is a lot richer than AMAC,,,,,,,,,,,,,
-
By the way i am a jealous person,,,,,,,, I was jealous of HUGE HEFFNER and i was extremely jealous of BANKA,AALARD AND THE BOYS,, GETTING free rent plus gourmet meal and Lance style great sex,,,,,,,,,,Man and the great music they listen to like A CYNDI LAUPER classic, BOYS JUST WANNA HAVE FUN,,,,,,plus LANCE ARMSTRONG I WAS JEALOUS OF HIM WHEN HE KEPT SAYING EVERYONE WAS JEALOUS,,,,,,,,, My favorite on this site is when someone says why would he use drugs and risk it all on a 1-9 drug cheat,,,,,,,,

Do you think Pollack and the Determination see ROI
Harris' Pollock has no ROI to speak of, Cullipher's does as he is not into yearlings to any significance. Determination has world champion mares that produced $ on and off the track, so there is some return there, but the owner has more money than g-d so it doesn't matter to him anyway.
-
Regardless how anyone feels about him, his concept is working. New owners are in the game. Trainers whose careers were over have been resurrected. It’s easy to find negatives such as his driving style but at the end of the day, his clients are getting what they signed up for. Entertainment.

Captain Incredible had a little knee boot problem X2, The Left knee boot came down leaving the gate, and the other one during the race. AMAC was not a happy camper at the time. Scotty was driving him cautiously due to this. So, maybe next time.

Just more excuses, oh am I surprised no!. Keep paying those phony bills on your pony. Remember this is all amusement and AMAC is so amused how easy it is to fleece people.

Correct me if I am wrong, but many of these expensive horses are mostly owned by one person in Ohio. If he was unhappy with AMAC, do you think he would still be with him?
I don't own anything and never have with them. I have never met AMAC but I follow his operation. People know what they have to pay to be a part of fractional ownership. He has over 900 owners so some of them are not going to agree with him. He does his best as far as putting the horses in where they can compete.
-
Heavy favorite scratched yesterday just before going to the gate. At the time it was called a “Vet Scratch”.. charted as lame .. t
Took someone 8 minutes to decide a horse is lame ?? Maybe something else ??
-
Partner went off on the book can’t find post any help?
-
If you are talking about Pick Pocket the track vet seen him in post parade and she thought he looked lame but I believe that's is the way he always warms up

this whole thing is a huge scam - when will it all come to an end?

must be nice to overpay for horses so you can drive in all the top races and get your name called. had these owners not put up there money he couldn't get listed in a 5 claimer let alone top stakes. When you run a business managing horses you manage and you don't drive for your own benefit. Is he giving back the 5% for driving?

Many people 'overpay' for the horses they buy! It is part of the business! Who would be driving these horses at their respective venues? Top drivers have their own "pecking order" on who they drive for. If the top drivers won't drive there horses, who will? Will there be better drivers available or drivers worse than Amac?

I don't know if it's jealousy or what, but he's delivering exactly what he promised...an experience. Exposure to the sport and business, a taste of what it's like, visit the farm, feed carrots to your horse, whatever. He didn't pitch this as an investment, a money making opportunity, etc. For whatever reason, a lot people choose to throw stones and criticize...his driving, training, acquisitions, and so forth... I guess if you can do a better job, go ahead and do it. If not and your thing is to throw stones, keep doing it. Other trainers are doing different things, some legit, some not. Bad apples in every industry. AMac IMO is not one of them,

I've seen a lot of discussion on this topic the last few months and my thoughts are nobody is twisting the owners arms to be involved in this venture. If I was a partial owner with the group I would look at it as pure entertainment... not a way to make money.. just like a trip to the casino. Do you hope to win? Yes absolutely. Do you know that you probably won't. Yes absolutely. It's for entertainment and just for the recognition of being a horse owner. Let's be real AMac isn't a great driver.. I'm sure the owners know he's not Dexter Dunn or David Miller. I've never met the guy but I don't think he's trying to pull the wool over anyone's eyes..and you would hope most people involved know what they are getting into.. and if they don't then that's their fault.

I have a buddy who has had and currently have some shares. He seems to like it.
Wouldn't be my cup of tea when you have no say of drivers or trainers. I agree, AMac
is the only one making any significant $$. Bottom line, it's their $$ and time. If you
don't like it , don't get involved.

I guess i am starting to see my wrongs in the way i have been thinking,,,,,,,,,,,,,Lets look at all the pleasure older people are getting out of giving televangelist all their hard earned cash and like you guys say,,,,,,,,No one is twisting their arms and look how happy some of these people are when shown pictures of where their hard earned money has gone and also look how many people are in a better place under the JIMMY SWAGERTS of this world,,,,,,,,,,,,Also lets look at the people that invest with telemarketers and yes they lose their money but the experiance of investing and been told you are doing well and keep investing,,,,,,,

Perfect analogy...AFraud is WITHOUT QUESTION the Jimmy Swaggart of harness racing. I love it....so true!

Perfect analogy...AFraud is WITHOUT QUESTION the Jimmy Swaggart of harness racing. I love it....so true!
Is it right/moral?
Is it wrong/ethical?
It is what it is! If/when the judicial systems have to deal with it, they will!
Look at the politicians today and how they ("legally"??) 'swindle' [Aka Jimmy Swaggart (correct spelling)] the masses!
-
Today the justice system does not get it right or get involved in most cases,,,,,,,,,,Just look at DISNEY ,,,,,,, Most people today can not afford the plane ticket and the cost of hotels plus the over price tickets to enter DISNEY and then the super expensive snacks but they have way to tough of a time to say no to the stair of a 7 year old they love and yes the experience is great but why cant Disney be more fair and do their immoral price gauging in a more fair manner,,,,,,,,,,, Why is Amac charging for hotels when he is not a top tier driver and why is he driving and why does he make all decisions ,,,,,,,,,,, If you have a world champion and it is not about the money then how is he able to sell,,,,,,,,,,,,,How many owners in this game have trainers telling them to buy a horse and in many cases the owner gets ripped off,,,,,,,, This guy is unchecked and his bills are not fair market price and yes a 1 or 2 percent owner is not going to lose a house but why does he have to lose all the time,,,,,,,,Also i believe that Amac makes many posts on his human kindness that is not real.

Bottom line the guy has resuccitated his own career and the careers of his trainers which were on life support before thestable came to be, all the power to him. He takes full advantage at the expense of other people's money buying horses for races that he otherwise would never have had the opportunity to drive in , good for him . Not much different then trainers that have latched onto owners with bottomless pockets, they'd never race in the elite races without the cash cows.
Your point about the constant need to bring attention to his " human kindness" is true and over the years become nauseating, if someone is truly doing good deeds or acts of kindness or gratitude they do so without needing the fan fare or posting about every text you send a driver that was given an opportunity solely because his plane couldn't depart on time.
He and his family are living very comfortable lives and give him credit for finding his niche and being successful financially in a business that very very few people actually make money at.
Can't wait for a track announcer to read this thread and give the new moniker The Evangelist loved the Swaggart analogy

I currently own two Standardbreds and 11 runners thru microshare ownership.
Been a pretty cool venture and with the communication I’ve seen the vast difference in training runners vs harness.
My goal is the experience and in the event I make a few bucks,”… great
But I’m realistic to know that a vast majority of horses will not make money.
So far I’ve owned a microshare of
Derby Winner
Preakness Winner
Win photo at Churchill and Keenland and other tracks that was not there.
I’ve made money so far with 5 and depending on Seize The Grey next couple of performances will probably be a head overall, but that wasn’t why I got in.
The GREAT A MAC debate has been going on years. With comments from actual owners being mostly positive as they have realistic understandings.
The days of single ownership is almost extinct as cost as prices of horses continue to rise.
Just my take
Most the negative I read are from those not involved.

Amac the good guy,,,,,,,,,,, His success started when he started giving horses to WILLIAM RHODES a couple years back and i think he gave a few to Ron burke and i can say for sure that carrots in a bill Rhodes horse would be a foreign item to the horses system,,,,,,,,,,,,,, To me it all sounds like a fairy tale with carrots and hugs and kisses from female grooms that have no clue to smiles when they hit the wire first,,,,, What a beautiful story as it brings me back to the Del MILLER days of pure racing,,,,,,,, And the three little pigs lived happily ever after,,,,,,The end,,,,,,,,,

Many gamblers dream is to go to the races and turn bus money into a bus but most bad gamblers turn buses into bus tickets,,,,,,,,,,,When it comes to some owners that is also the goal and very few ever accomplish this act,,,,,,Now here is the problem with AMAC if you ever get lucky with bus money and win the bus you will still walk away with bus money,,,,,,,,,, And smiles,,,,,,,,,
