The fact that he shows up at the Red Mile when all the top drivers descend on Lexington, is a decade-long running joke.
No hands/no brain flunky should be cleaning toilets.

He doesn't drive any horsepower. You're only as good as the horse you are sitting behind.

Not necessarily true. Can’t make chicken salad out of chicken shit, but good drivers can get the most out of their horse. They make the right decisions and see things coming before they happen. And that ain’t Marcus!

When you're driving chicken shit, as you say. you can make all the right decisions in a race and still finish back. If you are driving a monster. you can drive poorly and still have a chance.

I agree you put a monster on the front you win a lot of races and they are just a passenger. But in stakes races and more equally matched races, the driver makes a big difference. If you put a top driver on the best horse, they will win far more than someone like Marcus on the best horse. Favorites only win around 30% of the time.

Mucus was given "horsepower" for SEVERAL years.....and showed to all his lack of brains & hands.
He doesn't even deserve to be at the Red Mile, let alone driving decent stock. Those owners that once allowed it lost enough money, most don't allow it anymore. Daddy would still love to give Lil Mucus all the drives.
