Is he not as sharp as he’s always been, race 8 stretch call blown at the finish. Missed calling the winner till 5 ft from line.
Litl lad Hanover.was blowing by and it seemed like Ken never saw him till they neared the finish line?
Guys always been awesome, hall of fame class. Great guy but he blew this late call.
-
overrated...can'y sniff sam mckee in talent
-
And Sam couldn’t stiff Frank Salive
-
Guy drinks. Listen to him slur the horses names quite a few times
-
Ken is one of the best.
-
Ken stinks. Dave Little is a schmuck with his 2/5 shot best bets and Jen just babbles.
-
Bring back Hollywood Hayden. Can recall every race from 1979.

the guy is a buffoon
voice inflection, wrong horses, makes incorrect assumptions off meaningless fractions
just because a guy who many think " sounds nice" doesnt make him a good announcer
do you remember when he completely embarrassed himself on Hambletonian Day a handful of years ago?
i think it was the year Greenshoe competed in--he blew about 5 races badly
he didnt even call Lather Up's name until over half the race was over when he was on the lead

Greenshoe drawing clear--never once has the lead 73cv.2 73cv.2 73cv.2 ngc3 ngc3 ngc3

Heyden was never calling races
too busy studying charts on claimers in 1978

Ken has a great voice. He's always been a good announcer. I believe Ken is in his 60's. Everyone slows down some & makes mistakes. The Meadowlands is one of the hardest ones to call. In the old days it was definitely the hardest...in my opinion.
Sam & Frank were both amazing.
-
I know he was primarily GSP and not Meadowlands but I always liked Larry Lederman. At least he kept me chuckling while my bets went down the drain.
-
Ken "wow" Workentin sucks as does the little guy Edison at Yonkers. Not too many good ones left
-
That was probably the worst track record call ever. Unenthusiastic overall call he acted like it was just a stroll in the park until way after the finish. The half was sub 55 he should have known it was possible and acted accordingly.
The horse was great though.

Can you explain this ridiculous comment ?
Single file to the 5/8ths with an occasional brush. 5 in 5 out for 1/4 mile and a charge home. Seems like every other track with 1 or 2 more horses.

Hoosier way tougher call from my vantage point on Tv, just saying
