Most down under horses don’t last long

Lifespan about a yr  at top level if they ever reach top level

They don’t rsce hard down under

They're usually are older when the get here this LucPark moron is inept.  They Do race longer because they weren't trained down as two years olds. so they had time to mature before grinding them into dust. This one maybe on time off or any number of things.

Lucpark knows everything!  Except maybe what it’s like to ride a roller coaster!   ngc3  ngc3  ngc3

Seriously though, there was a ton of hype about this horse and rightly so.  Hopefully someone has the scoop.  Maybe he’s just starting his season a little late in hopes to last the big money months.

He hasn't raced since last July 1st and got a check in a M1 open.  Considering he missed the entire end of the season last year and hasn't even qualified this year I would venture that he is basically retired.  Maybe Lauren is training him to ride under saddle as she does with others.

He's missed a year before because of injury and raced well on and off when he got here, but never came back to the form he had in Australia before his injury down there.  At this point I don't think they would want to put him in against top horses, and to put him in against garbage is beneath him.

That article was from last August so it's safe to say things did not go as planned.  Namely "With no big races around we decided to give him a couple of months"  and Gordon said "all going well, Lochinvar Art would continue to race for the rest of this season and then the next"

Well it's been ten months since those statements so something obviously has changed.

It would appear he has been doing stud duty; thus, not sure if he is doing a stud/race/stud/race sequence??

All that happened before he came over here.  He only had a dozen foals. It should have no bearing on his current racing situation.  He wouldn't be off a year at his age if planning to race and there is no stud announcement on these shores. If anybody from their barn knows anything please post.
